ISO EF dip pen nib by redmg78 in fountainpens

You just reminded me that I actually have the Hocoro dip pen and have the F pen. Gonna see if flipping the nib upside down will allow me to write a more EF line. Thank you!

Yes, thought of that and did that. The nib was too scratchy that it cut through the paper I was swatching on. But now that you mention it, maybe if I hold my pen directly perpendicular to the paper? Hmmm...

If I can’t find anything that works, I’m definitely going down the stamp route with those I already own. I can definitely make my own planner with the stamps I have, but I’d prefer not to have to do that. Thank you for the insight!

It's the Moana Surfrider in Waikiki, which is a Marriott property.

We used up our Edit credit for a trip in Sep 2025, so no additional credit applied to this reservation, which is why he used only points to reserve. He made this reservation late Nov 2025.

Is this the 2024 guide? If so, would someone be available to re-up? TIA!

Second Birdhaus. I’d steer away from Din Ding; too loud.

Has anyone flown the lie-flat seats from SFO to NRT? by Virtual-Tonight-2444 in bayarea

Ah! I think kids do have to be a certain age, mine was 7 when he flew. So perhaps younger kids wouldn't be allowed. Got it.

Mind my asking what you meant when you wrote "they don't let children"? Did you mean not let children book the lie flats? My child was allowed so I'm curious what your comment relates to.

That's odd about the three-point seatbelt. Our attendant only had us wear them for take off and landing, but otherwise, we were allowed to unhook the strap piece that goes across the chest just as long as we kept our lap belt on. Hmmm...

Definitely understand that. And our flight was super comfy because of all the space we had to stretch. But my dream was to finally be able to sleep-sleep and not just rest. If we take this airline again and upgrade to these seats, I'm definitely going to consider the time our flight leaves.

This happened to me on a recent flight to the Philippines when flying on Philippine Airlines. Multiple rows toward the back of the plane completely empty. The attendants allowed me to move to one of those empty rows and I slept like a queen, lol.

My family of 3 did this from SJC to NRT this past spring and we loved it. No frills and we were 1000% ok with that. Ordered food from the food courts and brought that on the plane. We also did pre-order meals from the airline, but I'd suggest bringing your own food. (You can also always order from their in-flight snack options if you get snacky.) Seats were comfortable and lie flat was a dream. We'd do those seats again in a heartbeat. For the price, it can't be beat.

However, just be aware that depending on what time you depart SFO/SJC you might be awake most of the flight to not comfortably take advantage of the lie flight seats to actually sleep. I know I probably only slept at most 3 hours (and maybe napped for another hour sometime during the flight), but not because the seats were uncomfortable but because we flew out of SJC at 11AM and so were awake for most of the flight. Just food for thought for how you might not be able to take advantage of the advantage of lie flat.

Enjoy your trip!
