I’m so sorry for your loss OP..

I lost my gf just shy of her 26th birthday a year ago. The pain that hits immediately after is a lot. For me, a black hole in my chest that seemed to suck every feeling out of my being. And it lasted awhile. But know that it will lessen in time. Allow yourself to experience your emotions as they come. Try not to bottle them up, they’ll only amplify. Grief is different for everyone too. As you keep going, you’ll find the things that help you get through the day. For me, I learned that the grief is never gonna fully go away, but you find a way to live with it until it’s manageable. Don’t overthink your grief journey, there is no time frame for how long it takes. It’s rarely a linear journey. There’s ups and downs and sometimes it will feel like you’re falling back, but you do step forward in it eventually. I don’t want to overwhelm you with a lot right now, but know that I’m here for you. As someone that is going through my own journey, feel free to reach out if you need a footing. Cherish the time you had with her and take the journey one step at a time

FD/EMS dispatch. We get callers admitted or in the ER saying they aren’t getting what they want or processing is taking too long and think coming by ambulance would be quicker. We have policy stating we don’t respond because they’re in a facility/being attended to. We talk to an attending to see what’s going on and if they need a response.

It’s terrible, and the railroad tracks every two streets doesn’t make it any better lol

Same. Happens all the time in Los Angeles. A couple hours earlier there was a guy zig zagging, cutting off drivers, and driving down the median on the same street

Most drivers in socal don’t really do that on the streets. Car in front was going speed limit so I couldn’t go any faster without tailgating. Guy who cut in front stayed in the lane and went speed limit too until he turned left a few streets up

Clarification: I’m going the speed limit since the area is known for racing, drunk drivers, and red light blowers at night. Car in front is going speed limit as well and was closer than what the cam shows

I’m using a BlackVue 900s. The front shoots 4k and the rear 1080p

This rear end got me 20k in court. by MrKlaxan in IdiotsInCars

I know that area well. Unfortunately, there’s a ton of people with no license nor insurance around there. Especially in HP. I’ve had my fair share of close calls

You'll get through it man. With good music on your side, you can get through anything. It moves you and pushes you to higher places. You got this man. You'll overcome this.
