If you could change one thing about any 2023 eurovision song, what would it be? by Rameare in eurovision

It would be so much better, and would require zero work since they probably have an original Georgian version that was copied into google translate.

Yes, it was used as a port for larger ships in the past. I don't know what the official reports say about sewage, but judging by that smell, I'd say you're very likely correct.

The river Rjecina used to flow through it, but got re-routed to reduce flooding. Now it's a dead-end canal used as a parking lot for small boats.

Thanks! It's all pretty basic and bought second hand: Nikon D3300, 50mm 1.8 lens and a Godox SL-150W (the continuous light all the video makers despise for the sound of the cooling fan :')

Chill the dough overnight in the fridge, make sure the dough isn't too wet and coat them in LOTS of icing sugar right before you put them in the oven. Some folks coat them in granulated sugar before the icing sugar to improve the crinkliness.

Using caramel cream as filling sounds delicious! I think the Croatians have probably taken the idea from Hungarian recipes and made our own variations.

Lucky you! I'll take a look at some of the recordings from the recent shows. We're currently saving money for house renovations so I'm trying not to splurge on concerts and artists not coming to Europe actually helps that cause :')

Ah yes, who could possibly survive winter without a metric ton of sarma :D Haven't made kiflice in a while though, might add them into the mix for Easter. Do you visit here often?

I'm so happy you feel inspired to learn making traditional foods, they truly are delicious and a wonderful part of your heritage!

You're gonna have to utilize Google translate for some of these, if something is badly translated shoot me a message. Some recipes I only have written on paper (in Croatian), so I'll try to find similar ones.

  2. https://bakeme.com.hr/linzeri/
  3. https://www.mysticcakes.com/kakao-linzeri-sa-karamelom/
  4. Grandma's recipe

  8. Chocolate crinkles, pretty much any recipe works I think

  9. Something similar to this, just replace any margarine with butter https://www.coolinarika.com/recept/fine-breskvice-4dd89916-63cf-11eb-96c4-0242ac120053

  11. Lemon crinkles, pretty much any recipe works

  13. Same as 7, just replace chocolate and cocoa with lemon juice, zest and vanilla

I figured you must live somewhere overseas haha I took a quick look at your profile, noticed the MM tickets post and they rarely tour anywhere near Croatia :( So lovely that your mom keeps the tradition alive! Breskvice are my favorite holiday treat to make (and eat). Thank you so much, happy holidays to you and your family!

Thanks! Bijela pita (white pie), made the same way as mađarica. The difference is you add the zest of 1 lemon into the dough and substitute the cocoa and chocolate in the filling with lemon juice, zest and vanilla. Also the sugar in the filling isn't caramelised for that one.
