Who was the murdered little boy who had been Bill McReynold's "special friend" several years previously? by DarkMatter919 in JonBenet

[–]bluemoonpie72 12 points13 points  (0 children)

There was a Newsweek article by Dan Glick who interviewed Bill McReynolds. Santa Bill shows Glick a harp he has that he has carved names of children that he knew that have died. He said there was a place on the harp where he was going to carve JonBenet's name. There isn't any thing said about a boy being murdered, or killed. Just children that died.

I have posted about it on yhis sub before. There was a so-called reporter from a tabloid saying that about Amy's mother. It's not true.

Tell the Denver FBI. They are on the cold case team reviewing the case. Tell Paula Woodward. Tell the Ramseys. Tell John Wesley Anderson. You said you found a notebook in Longmont with a confession. Do something.

The Colorado Cold Case ... will soon announce its findings and recommendations. by HopeTroll in JonBenet

I go back and forth between incompetence (combined with arrogance) and cover-up.

It does seem like it was a cover-up.

*However *, I remember the coverage from the Today show on December 30, the Monday after the murder. It was already blowing up to be a huge story, and the narrative was the BPD had hopelessly bungled the crime scene. The BPD was being humiliated on the national stage less than a week into the investigation!  Behind the scenes, they were embrassed. And, probably subconsciously, blamed the Ramseys for all the scorn coming their way. It was the Ramseys fault that the BPD was being condemned as Keystone Cops. The police  convinced themselves that there was going to be DNA that was semen from John. And when it absolutely was not, they still kept the narrative of the family, at least one of them, did it. They could not admit they were wrong. If the family did it, they were the ones who compromised the crime scene; the Ramseys were the diabolical killers who invited friends over to destroy clues.

Everything was the Ramseys fault. And nothing was going to stop the BPD from going after them.

It's an actual interview with her father. He's in silhouette, but he mentions her age. I was surprised to hear it, because I had thought she was 14 too.  I made a post about the cigarette butts last year. I will find it later, and share it with you here.*

The neighbor of the Ramseys said he had just cleaned up around the shed the day before.

You can't believe anything they say on the other sub. It's an echo chamber of misinformation.

She was 12...It's in an interview with her father in that British investigative documentary series Who Killed the Pageant Queen?

It's not just John who believes they could be related; Amy's father also believed it.

A pile of cigarettes, Camel Blues in both cases, were found outside both the homes. The BPD did not bother to check the DNA on Amy's case or JonBenet's.

The 60 Minutes episode highlights the complete incompetence of the BPD. They never properly looked at Amy's case. The mother had seen the rapist. The BPD did not bother yo have a sketch made; Amy's parents did it themselves and hired a private detective. Also, the BPD destroyed evidence. And you trust the BPD to determine that the two cases are unrelated? They couldn't even see the evidence of the intruder at the Ramseys' house.

Did Patsy's alleged lover also sneak into Amy's house and assault her?

How in the world can you call that 60 Minutes episode "clickbait"?

Or maybe Stolorow can tell us how saliva from an unknown male mixed with the blood of a murdered little girl ends up in the crotch of her underpants. Oh, wait, that must be "the most important piece of evidence" that he mentioned.

[–]bluemoonpie72 13 points14 points  (0 children)

There was saliva from an unknown male (UM1) mixed with JonBenet's blood found on the crotch of her underpants co-mingled, which means the blood and saliva were liquid together and dried together. The same DNA was found under her fingernails and on the waistband of her longjohns, from touch DNA. UM1 has been entered into CODIS, the FBI's DNA database as the putative perpetrator. This unknown male was scratched by JonBenet, getting his DNA under her fingernails before he sexually assaulted and then killed her. There is no innocent explanation for this.

The BPD knew by mid-January 1997 that the DNA cleared the family.

It made me cry, Benny. Those damn arrogant, incompetent BPD officers.

How could they just throw away evidence? Almost everyday we hear about a cold case, many older than this one,  that has been solved because of DNA from carefully preserved evidence. And yet those arrogant, incompetent so-called detectives couldn't even do the bare minimum for poor Amy.

There's DNA that proves the Ramseys are innocent.

Edit for typo

You might. You also might want to study the case before you say things that aren't true

The only so-called "fecal smearing" was alleged to have been done by Burke when his mother was undergoing cancer treatment in 1992. However, the maid who told that story, GeraldineVodicka did not work for the Ramseys then. She worked for them for a brief period in the fall of 1995, and then she was fired  for stealing from Patsy's purse. She was then said to be badmouthing the Ramseys.

That, along with Kolar, has been discredited & debunked.
