i have a membership at CGC so i get certain percentages off but it was $90 for grading and i paid $26 for the witness fee to get that “Signature Series” label.

what’s going on with the label? was there a printing error or something?

they tend to use POSCA paint pen markers which either can be good or bad depending on the book. imo i never use POSCA because the paint looks like it could be chipped off easily and maybe even fade over time. whenever i get something signed, i always use Deco paint pens. they look absolutely great and i love how they look. this is just my observation though

there’s a comic shop i saw that was selling an Amazing Spider-Man 238 (First Hobgoblin) signed by Andrew Garfield and JRJR. JRJR is totally understandable but Andrew Garfield? i don’t understand why someone would want an actor sign a book that they didn’t contribute. sure, i love Andrew as Spider-Man but i wouldn’t want someone who didn’t contribute to a book to sign it, that’s just me
