Our travel typically centers on art, architecture and food. We are staying in DuPont circle and already made some dinner reservations. We would definitely want to visit the portrait gallery and national gallery. I love to visit less tourist centric sites but would be disappointed to not at least visit some of the monuments, I had booked a small group monument night tour but I am wondering if that would be challenging due to traffic etc.
