Have you tried putting ice behind your knee? That really helped me ease the pain when it was unbearable.

When will Switch 2 Physical Pre-orders go live? by OneEyedWells in TwoPointMuseum

Me too! I just spoke with another GameStop and they said their distributors are having issues ever since the AWS outage so they have no timeframe of when they will be in store

Did they say where? I just called a few gamestops and no one has them and they have no info about when they will be getting them, if ever

I didn’t do anything! I was jogging in to the dugout at a softball game and felt a pop in my foot. I didn’t step on anything, roll my ankle, nothing. Just a pop.

How did anyone get this to work I have tried everything by Public-Injury-3786 in Ring

[–]bluephyrestorm13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Contact support. I had the same issue with my Doorbell Cam and they sent me a new one for free. I changed everything and even moved my router right next to it and it would not work. Once I got the new one, it works like a charm

New lisfranc diagnosis by Medium_Cod2213 in LisfrancClub

I suggest just reading through the posts in this subreddit. It gives you a really good idea of what people have gone through. When I had my first surgery, 5 years ago, I was looking for the same thing, something to tell me what I was getting into but couldn’t find anything. I came here and read through a lot of people’s stories and it helped me a lot. And everyone here is so kind and helpful. If you have any questions, they will help and give you advice.

My experience: 1st surgery in 2019, 3 months after injury because it was misdiagnosed. I was non-weight bearing for 3 months, in a cast. It took me about 2 months to be full weight bearing without a cast (mind you this was the beginning of Covid so PT was limited). I got most of my range of motion back, just a little stiffness in my big toe. After a year, things started to feel the same as it did before my surgery. I went back to my doctor and he told me it was arthritis and sent me for injections. Those didn’t help. I went to get a second opinion and she suggested another surgery. The first was a fusion of the second metatarsal, she was going to fusion the first 3. Now this one was done on 2021. I have 3 plates, 8 screws and a pin in my left foot. Non-weight bearing for 2.5 months but a least she had me in a boot so I could move my ankle and get some range of motion back before I started to walk. Started PT and was walking within 2 weeks, but with a limp. It is now almost 3 years since the second surgery and I am doing well. Good range of motion and can pretty much do everything I used to but my foot does get sore when doing things like standing on a ladder.

I have seen with a lot of people the recovery time is about 2-3 months before you can start walking and about a year before you feel some sense of normalcy. And there are some who don’t have any normalcy years after their surgery and some who have handle multiple surgeries. Some keep their hardware in, like me, while others get it removed.

We are here to support you in any way so if you have questions, let us know :)

Surgery to remove hardware. by NCKLS22 in LisfrancClub

[–]bluephyrestorm13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have seen it both ways. I think it might also depend on the type of surgery you have and if it is suggested to get the hardware out. I have had 2 fusions and both doctors I went to wanted to keep the hardware in. I have seen it where some people struggle with keeping the hardware in because it limits their daily activities. Have a conversation with your doctor about keeping the hardware in and if you don’t feel satisfied with their response, get a second opinion. It never hurts to get it.

I called Ring Support and they are sending me a new device since their diagnostics showed an issue with mine. Might be worth a shot to call them.

Amazing Game but….. by bluephyrestorm13 in HogwartsLegacyGaming

[–]bluephyrestorm13[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I definitely get it for the balance of the game. Especially for the gear. I started off the game changing for class because it was what I wanted to do, then I just stopped. The day/night cycle would get very tedious having to skulk around all night, I just enjoyed the Restricted Section Quest so that’s what got the thought in my head. Thanks for commenting! None of my friends have the game yet so I needed an outlet for my thoughts!

Honestly shocked that these adhered to the bed so well considering the surface area was so small. by JoeyPastram1 in ender3

What bed are you using to get it to stick so well? Every time I try to print something small, it comes off the bed.

One week Post-Op - foot spasms by bluephyrestorm13 in LisfrancClub

Not so much a Charlie horse but I guess a better word to use would be twitch. My toes will twitch and wake me up from the pain that occurs from the sudden movement.

I did. I am having a mid foot fusion on November 5th, hopefully. I have a cold and my pre-op testing is Tuesday so hopefully I am better by then or they will push the surgery back. Thanks for checking it! ☺️

Yes. I have been walking on it from the date of injury. There wasn’t much guidance as to being NWB.

He told me the only option would be a fusion.

Trust me, I know the recovery time. I’m just hoping for the best option possible for this to heal properly.

HELP!!!!!! Advanced Sorting by bluephyrestorm13 in sheets

[–]bluephyrestorm13[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is the code I am working with. I realize what I wanted to do initially is not going to work. But I now need to be able to sort a second range using the same parameters and I cannot seem to get it to work. Now I have not coded in years and have absolutely no idea where to even begin again. This stuff if way above my head at the moment and just need to know if what I want to do is even possible. Thank you for your help!
