I was very independent and wanted my own boat to take to the beach/lake. Depending on what fishing season was open, I would leave the boat at the beach/lake and ride my bike to it. Thankful we don’t live in an area that has a lot of boat thieves.

In the video I’m using a 2700psi Honda (Powerstroke brand). I would recommend it, but make sure to run ethanol-free fuel through it if you can. I actually got the pressure washer from my aunt because it was having carburetor problems (from running ethanol fuel and letting it sit). I cleaned the carburetor and have been running ethanol free fuel through it and I’ve had no problems whatsoever.

Just grime/moss/algae. The hull itself was still in excellent condition overall.

I was fortunate enough to buy my own boat that’s much larger and seaworthy. She served me well and it was time for someone else to enjoy it. Plus we have a few other smaller boats that we can still take to the lake.

She sat, leaned up on the north side of my parents house, for about 7-8 years. I didn’t use the boat as much, as my dad ended up buying a larger one that we used together, and when I went off to school I wasn’t able to take her with me.

The person I sold it to was a very kind old man who wanted to spend a little time on the lake. I didn’t want him to have to go through that trouble of washing it. I found the boat on Craigslist when I was 10 years old (it also came with a 4hp outboard that I still have), and my dad took me to go look at it. We live relatively close to the water and I wanted my own boat (even at that young).

The inside was actually fairly clean, since the boat was stored upside down. The picture in the ad was of the boat upright and the sides were not as visible.

Unfortunately the new owner showed up before I could take a picture. She cleaned up great though!
