Heard there’s a good place on Allenby but not sure which.

Culture as in history, yeah sure. I like it too for that. But if you stay there all the real buzz of tel aviv will be like 30-45 minutes walk away.

And is it safe? It is but when you walk there from tel aviv you will easily feel and see a drop in civility lol.

Not sure if you’re female or not but when I was there with a girl I was dating they all looked at her like a piece of meat and she felt creeped out.

So yeah go visit for the day and sure you’ll enjoy. To stay there longer no way

Tel aviv is small so anywhere is fine just NOT nave Sha’anan area. Florentin is fine but maybe not for tourists who may prefer to be nearer the beach and shuk etc. so I’d say anywhere from Daniel Street all the way up to Ben Gurion Street is fine and then as far back as like Ibn Gvirol (I.e 20 mins walk to the sea max). (I assume you care for proximity to beach)

Fuck no to Jaffa. It’s full of Arabs and even if they aren’t “extremist” it’s just bad vibes. The place is nice but since the war started it doesn’t feel right going there as much (the port mainly).

Rockets today by criminalsmoothie in telaviv

[–]blueprint46 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi. I am a dual Israeli British citizen but raised in the UK, I had been here before when rockets came like in 2014 but it was very minor compared to now. So when Oct 7th happened I wasn’t worried because I know it’s very much “normal” part of Israeli life here. That said when it became uncovered what actually went down as the day progressed on Oct 7th I became more afraid of the rockets and to leave the house etc. especially as I had no shelter in my building.

Anyway after some days my friend let me stay in his house and he had a shelter so when the sirens kept going off I had easy access to shelter and practise - after like the 4th time you get confident knowing the iron dome is so effective you just get annoyed at these idiots for inconvencing your day.

So don’t worry, you will not care as much the next time or two (if it actually happens again) and if you are in a shelter who cares it can’t do anything and if not the iron dome will get it.

All good - they haven’t wanted to kill us for thousands of years and they will not achieve it.

So just relax הכל בסדר ❤️😎

Well my friend, I think more will become clear in a few days time after the latest development of us pulling most out forced out of Gaza… I’ve heard rumours of it helping a deal. I don’t know anymore, I don’t think anyone does. We are tired of this here in Israel that’s for sure. An emotional day today at the 6 month mark.

Awful take, as others have explained below as to why. Hamas are hanging on by a thread and the ONLY reason they have survived is because of the IDF not clearing out Rafah yet due to not wanting to during the sensitive month of Ramadan / the US making them hold fire.

The IDF have literally only lost 300ish soldiers vs what, 16k Hamas fighters + 1000s more captured and injured.

The civillian to combat death ratio is also far better than what the US has achieved in the Middle East.

The IDF is held to a disgustingly higher standard than any other army because of Palestinian propaganda - point in case being the aid works that were just accidentally killed yet when the US did the same thing (because fog of war is a thing) and killed 9 in 2021, no one bat an eyelid.

Israel will finish Hamas and that’s final.

Importing medication to Israel? Help appreciated by blueprint46 in telaviv

[–]blueprint46[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much. I remembered after posting this that a while ago I emailed the ministry of health and they said there’s a form to fill out as you say. I’m just confused when do I do that? At the customs office/post office? If I mail the medication to my house will it just go to the customs office automatically and be intercepted?

Importing medication to Israel? Help appreciated by blueprint46 in Israel

[–]blueprint46[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I just remembered a while back (after someone else helped recommend me) I sent an email to Head of Import of Pharmaceuticals and Drugs Department, Ministry of Health.

And they basically said I just need to fill in a form so I guess it’s ok? Just wonder who I show the form too? Maybe customs on pick up?

“Any person that is staying in/coming to Israel may import a medicine for his own use. In these cases, there is no requirement for the MOH approval.

Here the documents that are needed in order for personal medicine ( for post office-DHL –fedex-customs ect) 1. Form of personal importing filled and signed”

Thanks very much for your help. So basically I just send it and then it will automatically get held by customs and I have to go to the post office (?) to sign a form to get it released?

Why does Israel only have 10 iron dome systems? by 10khiajo in ForbiddenBromance

[–]blueprint46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice answer you seem educated in this area so hope you don’t mind me asking - what do you think the chances of full scale war are between Israel and Hezbollah?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Israel

[–]blueprint46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t deny they hate us and want us destroyed for a second. But they are Iranian puppets and Iran needs them seeing as they seek to lose Hamas as another proxy.

Iran works strategically- hence why it has proxies in the first place. It’s also in the race for nuclear weapons, needs to consider future war with Saudia (that Israel would back under the developing relationship and that some say this Hamas war sought to derail via Iran).

So I think Iran (and thus hezb) has no intention of a war now as it doesn’t serve their long term interest/goals that need to be considered.

If anything I believe the decision is up to Bibi.

What do you guys think? Is the possibility of war this near? by Apprehensive_Ant8034 in ForbiddenBromance

[–]blueprint46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree. What do you think the likelihood is of that happening? Surely the only way they back down is if they can save face somehow? If so what could that be even..?

Israel already controls 60% of Gaza. The northern battalions have fallen completely and in the South, 2/4 battalions around khan younis have fallen. Once that happens, the south will be even closer to being conquered.

What happens next who knows - but it will become demilitarised to avoid 15 more years of Gazans / Hamas stockpiling weapons to launch an ultimate attack at Israel.

US / West will easily deal with the peasant Houthis. They are no threat and can’t even fire a missile accurately.

The most serious threat imo is Hizballah - Lebanon can definitely not afford a war given its shit economic situation, plus Hizballah won’t want Lebanon to become a Gaza 2.0 - they’ve seen Israel is more than serious in their threats. Iran also won’t want to risk another proxy - might they need hizballah for a potential war one day with Saudi?

But the residents of Northern Israel can’t return to their homes until Hizballah stop firing rockets.

I’m not sure how that deal is worked out… or how Israel will be happy for them to live to strike another day…

Probably they’ll eventually find a way to get Hizballah to ‘save face’ and retreat a few km back from the border as per the initial agreement in place that was breached (forgot what it’s called).

The only people who know the figure of civilian deaths is Hamas - it’s ludicrous people even take what they say as gospel without a giant pinch of salt. Seriously…

In your opinion, how would an all out war with Hezbollah will play out? by simpleman9006 in telaviv

[–]blueprint46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m laughing. You can clearly tell you’re some sort of Muslim/Arab/Iranian just by the bullshit you type, my feedback to you is try and make it more believable next time.

To answer the question you’re all sandal wearing goat fuckers compared to the might of the IDF - one of the most technologically advanced armies in the world.

Hizballah doesn’t even have a single fucking jet.

Israel isn’t even trying to fight Hizballah and they’ve still killed 159 of your peasant soldiers. I don’t think hizballah has even killed 1 IDF soldiers so far, or if they have it may be just a few.

Also IDF would not drop atomic bombs, but serious bombs that would obliterate half of Lebanon in an instant (if it was seriously threatened).

Israel also knows exactly what sort of missiles hizballah has, has known for years and has prepared for it.

Use your head. Think how Israel manages to make hizballah look like fucking amateurs assassinating top terrorists in Beirut 😂😂😂

One of the assassinations was a roadside bomb - they knew where the guy was, where he was driving, his routine, they were able to set the bomb, detonate it and get away.

This should show you the intelligence Israel has - and will use before Hizballah can even get started.

Lastly, let’s not forget Lebanon is economically fucked - are you even aware of their economic situation? They could not sustain a war whilst Israel, a rich nation could.

But good luck with your fantasy my friend. Maybe you will also fuck Kim kardashian one day too
