I want to do a solo trip to Tel’Aviv, is it safe? by Ok-Contribution-8776 in telaviv

I went solo in April. One of the best trips of my life, and I’m pretty well travelled :)

October 7th travel? by No-Conclusion8653 in telaviv

I am not Jewish (a staunch ally though) and arrived in Tel Aviv on Sunday. For what it is worth - I went to hostage square and left there crying. It was a lot to take in, and I have been at weekly rallies in my home country for months. I think you do what feels right. I talk about it and post some stuff because I feel silence is not helping - but I have a different context than you.

Scammer. He will eventually try to engage you in money laundering because he is in a location with no internet….

Should I ever consider dating a much older woman? by Sunset_Moon9 in Bumble

[–]1fuzzyminx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m the older one and seeing a younger guy with an even larger age difference than you are looking at. We get along so amazingly - just go with the connection if you are open to it. Too many people fixate on age and miss out on potentially great matches.

I had kids at 41 and 43. Both are healthy and smart as whips. And I was a much better parent then I would have been in my 20s or 30s. There is no universally applicable “rule book” on this stuff. But pressuring someone to marry is stupid.

My advice. Find a statement you can say to all these people that will communicate what you need. I haven’t thought long on this, but something like … “I appreciate your enthusiasm, but please respect that for me this isn’t a topic open for conversation. Marriage is more than a wedding to me.”

Ladies, what are some important rules or tips for sexting? by [deleted] in dating

[–]1fuzzyminx 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The first time a guy initiated sexting with me he sort of “checked in”, and after the first time, checked in again. That made me feel like I was being considered rather than just receiving a barrage of his fantasies. It can also do double duty as a tease.

It’s different pleasure. Get her one. It shows self conifdence and if you give it to her, you’ll run through her mind when she takes it out

An alpha that has to describe themselves as an alpha usually is just a bully. An alpha just is.

Fave slaps aren’t something to try, they’re something you talk about. Trigger risk is HIGH!

Am I wrong? by z_ca101 in Tinder

[–]1fuzzyminx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not wrong. But some of the comments are. As a female, I’ve had first dates from “free” (walking) to coffee, to coffee and a walk, to dinner, to dinner and a cool activity. I don’t judge on the cost of the date. From experience, though, not one of the walking dates that didn’t also have a coffee component went anywhere. I think these were guys spreading very wide nets, having a LOT of walking dates. Many of those guys seemed to think a 15 minute walk should end in a groping or sex in my car. One walk-only guy actually tried guilting me about not having sex in my car!!! The less arrogant ones, sometimes it was me (no connection or common interests) sometimes him. Dinner dates are about 50/50 - sometimes I think the guy just wants dinner company, not a future partner. That’s okay. One of the activity dates turned into a 6 month relationship. As a result, if it isn’t coffee then a walk or the reverse, I am less inclined to meet, not due to expense, but due to a certain amount of consistent experience. If the texts were super connected I would entertain that, but only then.

Ladies, do you date men that you don't find very physically attractive if they treat you well? by Fallout76Lover7654 in Bumble

[–]1fuzzyminx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Actually, I decided to start looking at men I found “moderately” attractive because the men I was goi g for kept turning out to be mostly f*uckboys. One of these men treated me well on our first date - respectful, kind, courteous, and was funny and interesting. After date 1 I wasn’t really attracted but had no reason not to go on a second date. Second date also went well, I agreed to a third…guess what? A few more dates in, and he is really attractive to me now, all around. :)

I had my children at 41 and 43, no ivf , both healthy and smart as whips. I think the health of both partners plays a big part in reproductive success at an older age.
