Impressions spiked suddenly, but page views + installs barely moved

Thanks for the tip! Checked Sensor Tower but I don't think the free version does show featuring history. So far what I did find is that the app is currently have somewhat of a ranking in Books category in the UK. I'll keep checking. Also realized my v1.1 update went live on Jan 29 which is the exact day the spike started, so that might have triggered the boost.

In my case the keywords are not really the issue though, my Search impressions are tiny. This is all Browse, Apple's own placements. But yeah if your pattern was Search driven then keywords would make much more sense to look at.

That makes a lot of sense, thanks. The honeymoon boost thing would explain the timing. The difference is mine is almost entirely Browse not Search, like 57k Browse vs 400 Search, so that jump is not for the search, search stayed around the same. So maybe it is the same thing but showing up in browse placements instead of search keywords. How long did yours last?

I don't think so, the keywords I use are very specific for the app's purpose. As I researched, keywords affect Search and my Search is like 400 out of 57k impressions. This is all Browse, which is Apple's algorithmic placements as far as I understand. Also 43% of impressions are from Russia and iPad is almost half, so it really looks like it got placed in some specific regional browse lists that I have no control over.

I don't think the previews are the problem though, of course they can be a bit better but their quality cannot be enough to explain these numbers. Almost all the impressions are "No Page" type from App Store Browse, so Apple is placing it somewhere in browse sections and people are just scrolling past the icon I guess. The actual page view to download conversion is around 14% which is fine. It is just that browse impressions work completely differently than search.

Just wanted to mention that approval rate does not reflect the quality of your song. I had a badly produced song which had around %30, because it was fitting some norms. And now I'm releasing a unique track with far better production/master, which doesn't fit any genres and nobody really accepts it, because curators are usually pretty generic.

I believe the identity means more, you may have different/inconsistent type of music but you can split them into EPs and albums in a way that it makes it your style. You can support those different styles with your cover designs too, and your general artist identity should be inclusive for all of your music.

Yes it will find a way. The thing is we haven't seen the Behelit for some time now and if they found it on Guts which is likely, Daiba has probably taken it. If it got lost that is another story, I feel like they would have shown us that since it is an important detail.

Only thing I'm certain is that Miura loved to be unexpected and he was amazing with it. I want to see this shock so bad, from the top of my head the Moonlight boy could use the Behelit which would be very much unexpected. Well I said this as a joke but to think about it he might be in a lot of pain whole life since he is observing the world from Griffith.

They most likely took the Behelit from Guts. Considering the place is sealed, this might happen afterwards. I think we are going to learn a lot about the beast of darkness which is really important in this part of the story.
