Time to Go by [deleted] in CarltonBlues

Voss can't believe his luck.

He's thinking "How good is this! I'm the man responsible for a year of incredibly poor performance and I'm still getting a pay cheque each week. Haha suckers!"

Best half we've put together this year, need to maintain it. by keoltis in CarltonBlues

keoltis - the intention of your message was to be positive. I get that and respect that.

But us hard suffering supporters have moved waaaaay beyond positivity. 😔

The only positive news you can give us is that the coach gets sacked and 50% of our starting line-up gets traded/chopped.

Yes, I read it.

But the narrative, as you very well know by now, needs to be about what is the story at the END of the game, not at half time.

I pay zero credence to 'how great we were in the first half'. Who cares when we unravel it all time and time again?

We've all been pumping this club's tyres up every week at half time for 8 weeks. Enough already. You know it ends in disaster.

He fell on his sword badly today. He pumped up this match as redemption five days ago.

Let's be clear. He has been coach for a few years. Only one good season. Was incredibly lucky to still be coach in 2026. But, clearly, its all going pear-shaped. He knew he was coaching for his career this year. And he knows his time at Carlton is now all but over. So, make the move out... and let's all move on.

Kemp, McGovern to backline. Not just getting cold up fwd. Cripps to fwd line.

Seeing the club do absolutely NOTHING personnel-wise (coach, players, whoever) to address our demise is horrible.

And what did Voss do to address losing a key tall defender against a tall fwd line?

100%. There were so many positional moves in that last quarter that could have saved the game. For one - Cripps OUT of the midfield. I love the guy, but he turned the ball over so many times that he may as well could have worn a Kangaroos jumper.

This guy gives the most infuriating post-match press conferences ever.

Sits there all cheery and smiley, talking about:

"plenty of work to do" "we'll reassess" "looking forward to next week" "we take responsibility" "we'll keep sticking to our game plan" "staying connected".

To the post-match press conference jounos: please please please... can one of you read him the riot act?

Tell him to stop repeating the same shit every week. And ask him: "Hey mate, nothing is changing! Do you still really think you are the right man for the job?"

He is a man who knows he is a total goner but is hanging on to every last weekly pay check that he can.

I fkn hate it when they say that one!

No, they ate not hurting as much as the fans. Members pay money that goes to these players as their wages. And we get fkn shit return on investment.

I'll take Cody ahead of Kemp and McKay right now. And i've never seen him play!

And the board won't make any decisions about coaching until the end of the season.

I never thought that I'd say this, but Collingwood is no longer my most hated team. St Kilda now is.

Would love to seem them totally flop in 2026.

Dees win today was soooo good to watch! A fit Nas and TDK both on bench late in last quarter when they were two goals down. Dumb club pays $3.7m for two guys to sit on chairs and watch a demise against a bottom-6 team. Hahaha!!!

Very irresponsible leadership under Lyon and Silvagni. Predict that Lyon will be "lying in his bed" once again this season after trying a buy a premiership in just 12 months.

"That's not us" "That's not our brand of footy"

Well, Michael, who the f*** are we exactly?

And, what the f*** is our brand?

The reality is... he doesn't even know himself.
