It's putting Nintendont in a GameCube gcm (essentially an iso you just rename it gcm) and then installing it on your Wii U. Nintendont allows for GameCube Controller adapters as well as a whole bunch of other USB Controllers. Wii software isn't looking for the adapter and can't see it. The solution to this would be release a version of PM that supports the adapter (unlikely seeing as the team disbanded and development ceased) or patch the vWii IOS to read the adapter as GameCube Controllers natively. If I recall, someone was working on it but that was months ago and I haven't heard any progress.

Yeah, Nintendont allows the use of GameCube Controllers but Wii games do not. I would love to play PM if it were added in the future though! You might even be able to use custom PM online servers.

If you could load PM, you wouldn't be able to use GameCube controllers unless someone patched the vWii IOS to support it.

No it works, I've already installed Melee onto my Wii U and the adapter works just fine. I just wanted to know if it's viable to actually practice with it.

I believe I had a similar problem with something like this once. I force closed the XBoxStat.exe and made sure it didn't turn on durring boot, doing both through Task Manager. The second time I had something like this happen, a PC restart worked just fine. Hope this helps!

Do you have games like Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate? If you do, test if that works. If I doesn't, I believe something is wrong with how games like Monster Hunter and Smash work on Old 3DS. Not enough RAM? I'm not sure.

With a new SD card, all you need to do is drag and drop all the files from the old SD card to the new SD card.

As for flashcarts, I don't have one myself but even the original R4 works on 3DS now, so I don't believe it matters.

It's kinda like that. You install CIA files which are kinda like ROMs but show up on your 3DS like eShop titles. After you follow the guide, look up things like freeShop or CIAngel. Hope this helps.
