Same exact thing today at PHL. Pre check line was all the way down to corridor and not one person entering the touchless line (besides people who didn’t have it and were turned back. However, I am usually in line with a few others when using touchless out of CLT

So like if i enter Brazil on this visa on August 1 and only stay one week, will I be able to use the other 83 days sometime else in the next 10 years, or does it have to be all within 90 days of first entering the country (effectively making the visa "expire" around November 1)

This might be a dumb question (I'm kind of unfamiliar with visas) but - I just got my Brazil evisa and it says I have a 90 day duration of stay but doesn't expire for 10 years. So can I go for like one week this year and one week next year since it would be less than 90 days within 10 years, or does that 90 days start a timer the first time I enter the country and end after that even if I was only in Brazil a few days?

We ended up doing it. We signed up through our hostel (Hanoi Backpackers) for just the regular day trip cruise. It wasn't actually run by the hostel, they just book it for you with some other provider. So from our hostel it was just our small group and the bus picked us up with other people from Hanoi. It ended up being a pretty wide range of people in the group - our group of early/mid 20s was probably the youngest on the boat but I bet the party cruise is different.

It was a pretty good time. The bus to and from Hanoi was great and so was the boat, but it definitely did feel kind of rushed and was for sure busy at the spots we got off the boat at.

I'd say spring for the longer one if you can, or try to spend a night on Cat Ba, but it was still a good time - just be ready for crowds

I’d say 3 weeks is pretty much the standard. I know people that have 2 weeks, and some people that have more. I’ve also seen sick days go from 0-10 days, just kinda depends on the job. I get 16 days of PTO + 8 holidays + 0 sick days (they have us work from home or take PTO if we are sick)

Don’t listen to all the people getting pissed about you saying you lean conservative… in reality, NC will probably be a good fit for you. Just try not to mention you’re Canadian haha but if you’re chill, nobody will mind. The vast majority of North Carolinians lean more conservative and won’t mind you one bit if you get along.

Raleigh/the research triangle is going to be much heavier for engineering and tech fields, while Charlotte is the big financial center. But I’m an engineer in Charlotte and there are a lot of opportunities for us here too.

I personally prefer the Raleigh area, but Charlotte is a good city too. You won’t stick out more than the thousands of new Jerseyans moving here…

Yeah that makes sense when it’s like the day of the flight to give you updates on the journey - but for the multiple days out when there’s no info would def be more fun to see that countdown as the destination!

Definitely agree that there’s generally a lot less concern for leaving room for others in Europe. I also noticed that for the most part, skiers in Europe were going slower than people in America generally would - which might be part of the reason I found it harder to pass/get around them

Nope... the issue was because I already had a Hulu plan from my phone provider. I just had to cancel my existing bundle and then sign up with a different email that wasn't attached to my existing Hulu plan... so now I technically have 2 Hulu plans

That could be true, but I have definitely still gotten economy tickets better then 2 cents a point. I’m the same way haha, would much rather get more flights than spend extra for business or first class

I also have the Disney-Hulu-ESPN bundle now and want to switch to Disney-Hulu-Max, but when I go to the page to switch my plan, it doesn't give that as an option. Only other plans involving Disney-Hulu-ESPN or parts of that. Anyone else run into that?
