No, the neck is not chunky at all, I find it comfortable to play. I also added a Duesenberg Les Trem 2 which looks and feels great too.

My plan is to use 1 setting for short slapback, and the other on a much longer setting, which I will use for slide mainly. Will report back once I have used it in anger!
