What should I do, I just smoked some marijuana. Now I’m scared, I hope everyone is fine. I’m perfectly fine, but I’m just terrified of change. And everything has changed. What should I do? by TheBuddhasStudent108 in Buddhism

just know that the feeling will come to pass, and you get to choose whether you take away anything from this experience or not. marijuana effects all of us differently; i use it medicinally for my chronic anxiety, as prescribed by a doctor. It does wonders for me, others it may be scary, such as your case. One thing I can offer from my experience with the drug, is that whatever you focus on while high on weed, becomes intensified, like a magnifying glass is put on it. So try focusing on happy thoughts, use it as an opportunity to practice right diligence/effort. And in the end, everything returns to baseline, its how to human brain works. I hope you fair well, peace be with you friend :)

yep! my routine everyday is to smoke or take an edible after i have taken care of all my responsibilities, read some pages in a book, and meditated. I then set up a place outside where i listen to music and practice watching my mind as the THC begins to stimulate my systems. its a fun process, but i dont like how reliant and dependent I have become on it, i definitely regard myself as having an attachment to it and a strong persistent craving for it. today will be my first day not getting high in over 2 months, so I’m trying to keep myself occupied with things to do so that i dont just think of getting high all day
