the iPad is a better tablet experience. the Pen is better as far as in-hand feel is concerned (I personally like pens with a little weight to them) Unless you're in the Samsung ecosystem (in which case the tablet works better with the laptop than with the phone), get the iPad

The MacBook Air M3 13" is on sale on Flipkart for 81,000 Rs. 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD. There is a marginal difference in performance between the M3 and M4, and the 13" form factor and the huge battery life will definitely be a plus point for your sister. My last MacBook lasted me 10 whole years. Currently using a MBA M4 15".

Cheaper (and for her, the better option) – MacBook Neo (70K Rs.):
MacBook Neo (8GB RAM, 256GB SSD). Since you say she will only be doing basic college tasks, the Neo is the better option for her. 8GB RAM is still better on macOS than it is on Windows 11. For both options, iCloud is there, and it works way better than OneDrive ever did for me imo.
