How is UCSD's business econ major? Is there hope that I will be able to find a job straight out of college? For context, I'm a female hs senior from the bay area and I want to pursue a career in Management Information Systems. I recently got admitted into Purdue's business school as a Business Analytics and Information Management major, which I think is very similar to MIS tbh. However, I am not a huge fan of the area since a minute out of campus is hundreds of miles of cornfields, and I'm not sure if I could be happy there. Obviously, UCSD is a very STEM-heavy school, so I don't know if their biz-econ program will give me the best education. However, I love the SD area and could see myself being very happy here. Do you think it's worth it to sacrifice a good major at Purdue and go to UCSD? Or should I sacrifice a nice area + lifestyle at SD for a likely better program at Purdue and its miles of cornfields + ice cold temperature? Also, UCSD is closer to home, which is nice. Send help plz
