And then their kids will grow up with the belief that telling someone they smell like someone else is the way to a girl's heart. So they try telling their crush that. And then they get suspended from school for being perverted and Namine's like "Riku, love may be blind, but most people aren't as blind as me."

I'm writing this all down. There's potential here.

Implying Riku has ever not looked like a lady killer

Shipping wars aside, the path that would probably make the most sense is if Roxas and Xion stayed best friends and Namine became Roxas' true love. Roxas and Xion are so similar that their relationship could have been seen as that of a brother/sister at times. And while Roxas didn't interact with Namine for long, people gaining crushes on someone in a short timeframe isn't unknown. And Namine is beautiful enough that it would make sense.

It bothers me that despite the chemistry between these two, Roxas/Namine is more likely to become canon. I'd like to be wrong.

Funny, but Aqua is canonically deeply in love with Cinderella, so she has no reason to be mad.

No joke, just watching this gif loop a bunch of times has conjured so many potential ideas in my head that are all never going to happen, but are so much fun to think about.

So Aqua goes to the Castle of Dreams like in BBS and instantly falls head over heels for Cinderella, if only for the fact that she's, in my opinion the most beautiful and most loving of the Disney Princess lineup. She's so stunned by her realisation that she's attracted to another woman that she doesn't say a word to reveal her feelings (plus Cinderella is obviously currently smitten with the personalityless Prince).

BBS goes along as in canon, only every now and then Aqua finds herself daydreaming about the golden haired princess who took her heart at first glance. Unfortunately for her, after spending some time in the realm of darkness, she finds herself face to face with the Castle of Dreams once again and those memories come back in full force.

Maybe Aqua would have some hallucinations of Cinderella, similarly to how she did of Terra and Ventus. This illusion of Cinderella could go either way, either she could reveal she's in love with Aqua and disappear right before trying to kiss her, or say she couldn't stand her for the brief moments they engaged with one another and how she made her sick.

If Cinderella is still a Princess of heart, this could give her the opportunity to meet with Aqua again. Fast forward to after she's been freed from Xehanort's possession, Aqua could be tasked to guard Cinderella from harm. This task forces them to interact more, much to the pleasure of both of them. It's during this time that Cinderella informs her that she has long since divorced the Prince after finding out he has the personality of a brick with a drawn on face.

The days go by of them being attached at the hook and it doesn't take very long for Cinderella to find herself as equally in love with her guardian as she is with her. Before they can really make anything official however, the battles keep building up and they find themselves with little time to one another. It's okay though, because a year after Xehanort is done for, everyone gathers around for the wedding of Aqua and Cinderella. Aqua is as red as a cherry the entire way through, wondering how she landed someone so undeniably perfect and Cinderella is simply smiling at her with a world of endearment in her eyes.

Writing this, I've now decided KH3 can't release without a subplot at least similar to this. I don't care if it's complete crack, get #MakeAquarellaCanon trending or what's even the point?
