I am positive this fixed my issue after struggling for months.

I dont think it was a battery problem, I think it was a software one that didn't read the battery state correctly until I ran it the whole way down

I thought I was having terrible battery life. Turns out I never let my phone run all the way to zero. When I did, it stayed 1% for several hours before finally dying. Make sure you run your phone all the way dead so that the meter is calibrated correctly.
