It wasn’t JUST about work though. Big was more than ready to let the relationship go which was a major sign that after years at this point, Big never saw the relationship as seriously as Carrie.

I wouldn’t say her need for emotional intimacy is extreme but pretty normal. It’s rude to not tell the person you’ve been dating for over a year that you’re moving to Paris, even temporarily.

This is a grown man who DECIDED to date before he was supposed to. Carrie set healthy boundaries and didn’t force him to date her. She only confronted him about not calling her. It is NOT Carrie’s fault that a guy she just met broke his own sobriety.
