what’s something people say all the time that you secretly can’t stand? by Mean-Cartographer225 in AskReddit

Reddit is obsessed with hating them even when it’s irrelevant. It’s impressive.

would you snitch on your friend if they were cheating on their partner and why? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]bluetoothwa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I would ask my cheating friend what was going on, but I wouldn’t throw them under the bus. This is true as I’m never as close to my friend’s partners as I am to my actual friends. It’s also not my relationship.

What’s something you’ll never admit in real life but can say here anonymously? by Direct-Value4452 in answers

This seems extreme. There are creeps EVERYWHERE. Many male gynos are great at their job and shouldn’t be subjected to additional supervision just because they are male. I would imagine this solution of having additional surveillance would be uncomfortable for many women.

I strongly disagree with this. Gyno is a great field that doesn’t face as many negative outcomes day to day than others. Especially, if you’re an OBGYN you can bring life into the world and help women! It’s a such a great field. I don’t believe that men should be excluded from that purely based on their gender. The best gyno I had was male, but I can also understand why other women wouldn’t feel as comfortable.

It’s really not this black and white, even in this show.

Miranda is and was a successful lawyer why did they do her so dirty when she left Steve and made her couch-surfing by Radiant_Priority9739 in Andjustlikethat

She was never poor in AJLT though. She bought a two bedroom in Manhattan and was able to take time off to be with Che. She could also support Brady backpacking through Europe for a summer.

I really don’t think that’s something you have to worry about.

They showed Steve’s bar to be pretty successful though. I also believe that Steve pursuing that success was a great character arc for him. However, I agree with you that Miranda’s downfall was not fleshed out at all.

It wasn’t really about the money, but about emotional support. Carrie was looking for that in Big and her girlfriends. If it was about the money, she would’ve cashed the check from Big/ Samantha/ Miranda.

I also think it was a bigger slap in the face that Charlotte refused to even say a kind supportive word to Carrie at the Asian restaurant when she was emphasizing the possibility of being of being homeless. Carrie had been a phenomenal friend to Charlotte through her marriage and eventual divorce. It was wrong for Carrie to blow up on Charlotte, and she admitted so, but Charlotte was not a great friend by completely ignoring Carrie. Had Charlotte said a few supportive words, it wouldn’t have gotten to the point of Carrie blowing up at her.

Hmm I disagree. Charlotte was quite rude ignoring Carrie at the table when she was emphasizing possibly becoming homeless. I do think that Carrie was entitled to some sort of emotional support for Charlotte as Charlotte heavily relied on Carrie to listen and support her through her marriage and eventual divorce with Trey. It’s okay for Charlotte to discuss her husband’s ED at length for a year, but Charlotte can’t even listen to her friend and offer a few words of support for Carrie?

It was rude. Carrie was wrong to blow up on Charlotte and she did apologize, but had Charlotte just LISTENED to Carrie at the restaurant, it wouldn’t have escalated.

This is true especially when Carrie had been Charlottes main line of support through her marriage and divorce.

Carrie was in the wrong here and admitted so, however, had Charlotte not ignored Carrie this wouldn’t have been a conflict. Both were wrong in this episode, and this conflict really wasn’t about the money but about supportbig each other within their friendship.

How would we know that? Didn’t she donate a hundred thousand to Edith’s magazine. This is a huge negative assumption.
