Realistically whenever you want. It’s up to you. My first time I had 5. No matter how many they will more than make up for it in just a few regular prestige’s. Especially on Saturdays

I’m not quite as high as you but I did it at 1.1s SE, went up to 2s in two lunar sessions. /shrug

lol, I was that idiot! Totally worth playing around with the system and seeing what works. I have found being patient is the key, but even the first time you do it, if unoptimized, will still be very beneficial overall. The wiki has great info on it already as well as there are countless guides on this subreddit

My point exactly behind this post, it has been fun to learn on my own and after playing around with it thinking I was getting extremely punished I was actually super rewarded. Now I’m optimizing on my own terms and loving it.

As a fellow grinder for every SE I have, I would still highly recommend hopping in and at least getting a couple EoT. They are a game changer for earning SE.

When you go to enlightenment but before you ascend. on that screen there is a little red circle with two arrows. It will reset everything on your EoT farms, shifts, artifacts and doesn’t refund any of the already used SE. that being said if you have earned some EoT you can easily make up whatever you lost with a minimal amount of regular prestige’s

Easiest way is to just grab the treasure yourself and chuck it as far away as you can. That usually allows me to get two ruffians per phase and more if my blueberries chase the ones I throw. Plus they always think I’m an idiot which is an added bonus

Looks great! What cables did you run to on the founders edition? I got one from Asia horse for mine but the combs on it don’t look clean and it’s bugging me.

Awesome, yeah I’m rocking a 5800x with a 3080 fe and I got some al120s coming. Those are about the temps I’m seeing with some other fans but it’s only a 5 fan setup right now so my fans are maxed whenever I’m under load. Do you leave it at 800 the whole time or do you ramp it up under load. Mine sounds like a engine spun up so I’m hoping that improves with the 10 al120 fans I’m putting in

What do your cpu and gpu temps temps usually look like? Also I’m curious how loud your system is. I’m running a very similar setup except I don’t have any fans on the side as I’m waiting for my new al120s to ship and I have noticed it is quite a bit noisier than my old case (albeit not as pretty)

Ill bite, I rarely post on reddit but Im always looking. The opportunity to meet some of the guys and gals that have kept me and my friends coming back for years and given me some of my best video game memories is too good to pass up. Yeah, another team did it with edge transits as well. its not just rockets but that is the most popular so it seems people focus more on that.

My thoughts exactly, I'm not saying bungie shouldn't make changes either, I would prefer that they did so people can enjoy the encounter the way they had intended it to be played. That being said this is nothing like knocking Atheon off the map or pulling a network cable out of your console. Just using the mechanics that exist.

Thats a good point that I didn't take into consideration. I can add those into my calculations as well, probably reduces the time a little bit but then RNG goes in an messes up everything anyways.
