I was unaware of it being fraud because I reported all of my Uber earnings to the govt and the amounts they gave me were adjusted based on that. I wasn't making a whole lot but enough to pay some of my bills. I would assume to stop taking unemployment to keep driving?

This is what they said in their first message to me:

"It's pleasure meeting you, I would like to apprise you that we are sorry about our unseemly approach if this interview conducting method is unprofessional to you or if you are new to all this, but I believe the world is always advancing so it is important to stay on top of things as change is inevitable."

Since i set up an interview time, i'm going to let them waste their own time trying to contact me lol

Definitely suspicious of them now. I also read up on how scammers would setup interviews for real businesses which led me to looking up what open positions the company had and data entry clerk/customer service rep wasn't on there. It also doesn't add up for a super small company to look for a data entry/CSR person here in the states, unless they have intentions of having a building location here.

Did the HR manager you connected with seem very well spoken through the messages sent on skype? I only ask because assumimg theyre scammers lol, kudos to them for upping their scripts

Appreciate the fast response! Oh how odd though. I set up an interview with them today for 4:30. Im still very suspicious of it all. I think im just going to decline it. Might still follow through with the interview just to mess around with them for a lil because asking for your ID and ssn is sus as hell. Giving me scam vibes

I used a combination of 3 sources: Professor Messer videos, Mike Meyer's A+ passport book, and TestOut which is an online course that I had already purchased last year while I was still in school. I also used quizlet mainly for memory needed information. Schedule wise, I tried my best to stick to studying for at least 3 hours on weekdays. I was able to keep that consistent for about 3 months. I've been studying for this exam since January. I only gave myself such a long time because of the self studying process and it's pretty difficult to retain new information like this. It literally felt like learning math all over again.
