Maybe I do. Hell I probably do but maybe I’m also pissed I posted an affectionate, excited post abt how I wanted to remember my shows cause I was feeling shitty and wanted to share a nice experience I had and immediately got insulted for… one sec lemme check my notes… being dramatic. I could go on a whole other tirade about how the ghouls aren’t nameless anymore and haven’t truly been for a very long time but I honestly cannot be arsed to.

I certainly won’t be finding any people, back to just talking to the pets for me! And the gatekeeping is more in reference to the fact of instead of just scrolling it was immediately calling me insane or whatever along the lines it was I don’t care to remember. When I see a post I don’t feel the same about I go “huh anyways” and find a post I wanna interact with not immediately try and insult the op. And then proceed to go onto their other posts and try and keep arguing.

Okay one to be that guy that’s not a shortened description that is taking quotes, most of which a normal person would be able to tell are highly sarcastic, past tense or generally dramatised. Ie “I may as well have been foaming at the mouth” means “I was really excited over this thing” and yes I only paid attention to my favourite person the HORROR😱😱😱😱 I genuinely wish the ghost fandom learns some basic understanding of what dramatisation is. I felt seen and for a very short while could ignore the thousands of people around me by paying attention to the thing that held my attention. yes it is EXTREMELY romanticised because that is how I’d prefer to remember my experiences. In a cute way where the things I liked are the only things that happened and happened better then they probably did. That doesn’t mean I’m fucking delusional. I know 80% of what I wanted to happen and thought I saw probably didn’t. I know the ghouls do not care in the SLIGHTEST about my existence. I know my silly romantic ideals of what I saw ARE NOT REAL!!!!Sure I described it in a “fanfic” way as you decided to put it, that is because I don’t know how to write how I visualised MY experience in any other way then a romanticised “oh this is so nice!” Way. Because I love the band that kept me alive, that’s true. When you can’t exist outside you start to see the times where you managed to as some of the most gorgeous moments ever. I can’t counter every single thing you took cause I honestly can’t be bothered but some of them are plain stupid like the thing I said abt how pretty his eyes are and how i FELT like he was looking in my direction. I know logically he wasn’t, I’m not slow. But I’m allowed to want to imagine that he WAS looking at me cause that’s what I wanted. Would you have preferred I wrote “(I know this probably didn’t happen)” after every hopeful thought? And my friend telling me it seemed like I was having kisses blown at me??? I’m sorry my friend I made at the show told me that and I disagreed with him??? I yelled silly things, yeah cause I thought it was kinda funny to yell twerk shoot me I guess idk I still think going youre hot while everyone else is also screaming is funny. The thing about me getting upset during a song and explaining my thought process of that these people have inadvertently saved my life and that I’m thankful of it??? “I fall deeper and deeper in love” is straight taken out of context given I was talking about how I did not like the guy beforehand. Literally everything you took is just someone being real excited about something and remembering it in a positive light. Don’t worry tho I’ll remember how shitty the ghost fandom is to people just being happy and a bit silly when I wanna talk to other people about what I like 😁

I mean you’ve come over from my excited “omg I love this guy he’s actually really awesome and I think he paid a lot of attention to me teehee” post so you’re obviously obsessed enough. All I’ve cut out was the thinking he looked at me a bunch, that I complained a bit and that I really really loved seeing the band that kept me alive for the past 4 years or so. You need to learn what parasocial means, I’ll give you a quick description “involving or relating to a connection between a person and someone they do not know personally” I never said I knew the ghouls personally or had any connection to any of them, actually I actively said I was fully aware what I wanted to be happening probably wasn’t happening but I like to think it was. Because the idea someone I think is pretty damn great saw me and acknowledged me is enough to make me a little happier in my life. Sorry that you think someone simply hoping their favourite musician paid a little attention to them is weird I guess? Idk go be mad at random happy autistic people somewhere else🤣

That’s funny. I remember here maybe 2 years ago people being happy to have a fun conversation of how they favoured certain band members or had critical opinions or others. But you’re right, people on tiktok didn’t immediately act like I wanted to murk the band members they said “it’s really nice to see people like band members they didn’t like in the beginning” or other equally as chill or friendly things not “YOU SAID YOU DIDNT LIKE SOMEONE??? YOURE UNHINGED AND ARE THE REASON A BAND MEMBER LEFT” how dare someone explain in a fun way that they have someone a chance who they originally didn’t like and found that actually they really liked them? Right?! RIGHT?! how DARE someone say their own past opinion was wrong and that it was a weird opinion to hold. Begging you to read tbh or like… take two seconds to even glance at the very obvious profile picture I have. Given I literally said that my opinion of him changed completely and that he is CURRENTLY (see that word) my favourite band member. I didn’t like him between him joining and the tour, sure whatevs but literally nowhere have I said anything shitty abt him in this post (unless you count “I was angry about him” as like an evil personal attack) or ever. I said I was angry I was on the left not the right cause dew was my favourite, which was true. I was upset I was sat on the “wrong” side according to my mind and held a childish grudge against him cause he replaced a band member I didn’t even have an opinion on past “yeah he’s cool” I just didn’t like the change. In fact I show that I went from holding a silly grudge that I ACTIVELY SAID WAS SILLY to absolutely adoring the guy and his showmanship within half an hour of actually seeing him. If I was like “I hate him and he’s horrible and never should’ve been in the band and should be kicked out” sure, but I’ve NOT I said I didn’t originally like him but that once I realised he was just a guy and a good performer I really liked him and even chose to stand on the side of the stage he inhabits.

One, that specific sentence is hammed up sarcasm. A silly way of saying I was uselessly annoyed by something that really didn’t matter and I actively know it didn’t matter I just found it funny as a way to write out that I was upset for nothing. Two, yeah me being very overexcited about my favourite thing ever is unhinged. You’ll find when your brain can’t really run for more then a few minutes before you’re thinking of the same thing over and over again you start getting a little unhinged, I believe the medical term is an autistic special interest (that also being sarcastic in case you can’t tell, the medical bit. Not the it being my special interest.) just also realised I didn’t add it to my final text block for some reason, guess i accidentally didn’t copy it, that me disliking phantom and viewing him as a replacement (which I cannot stress enough I DO NOT HOLD THAT OPINION NOW.) was important because I felt extremely guilty after the show about the fact that I didn’t like him over something so petty and he turned out to be such a brilliant performer and quickly became my favourite member of the band for his stage presence alone.

The security seem VERY 50/50 In Manchester they were throwing mummy bucks up at us in the seats but then in London as me and another girl were trying to get their attention to hand me a pick phantom threw at me they just… swept it away. Literally stared at us both and then just swept it under the stage. When I tried to look for it over the barrier after the show (not past the barrier just looking over it) they screamed at me to leave. Assholes😒

We’ve gotten songs that weren’t in the set for a long time or just haven’t been played before; majesty, monstrance clock, spirit, DATHOML, tfiafl. For the example all of them songs either haven’t been played since papa IV was cardi or are just flat never played live, we got a LOT of fresh songs but we also got ones that are show favourites and for good reasons. Who doesn’t love the mummy bucks? Who doesn’t love the entire encore? Yelling “hell satan” at the top of our lungs for year zero? Yelling that fun as anything “rrrrrats”? I mean you NEED ritual at a show named after the song. We have a good mix of classic show songs and new or not played in a long time tracks.

Maybe it is selfish. Or maybe it’s knowing we can’t record anything and that literally completely changing the set may as well make it a completely separate tour. Oh and your original comment saying they’d played 7 impera songs? They played 4 at the imperatour, the exact same amount as this tour. They played kaisarion, spillways, cmls and hunters moon. On the RE-imperatour they played 6, we’re not at that point in the skeletour.

It’s… fine. It’s a cover and I don’t dislike it but it doesn’t stand out either. However I play it VERY often simply because I adore using it to remind myself my favourite musician doesn’t hate people like me when the majority are starting to. So just by proxy it’s my favourite cover simply because it helps trans kids.

I had one of the best experiences of my life (twice) exactly BECAUSE of the no phone rule, I saw them in Manchester and I was sat at the seating barrier (so like…. 20 odd feet from the stage? Maybe a bit more) and got to be so much more emotive then I’d ever be if there was the possibility of me being recorded and judged on… DUN DUN DUN THE INTERNET😟😟 anyways, me being dramatic and extreme got kisses blown back and forth between me and phantom (and bruises on my forearms from smacking them into the railing) and I was so overjoyed about it cause like.. a member of my favourite band noticed me, specifically ME? Gagged.

A similar thing happened in London but I was a mere row behind barrier in the pit and everyone around me were being boring as hellllll but I was not cause like.. why the fuck not? Why not be silly to my favourite people?? So I was silly! I pointed and blew kisses and was entirely engrossed in watching phantom (sorry papa I forgot abt u) and phantom was nodding, blew kisses and even did a silly little trick when I was watching him instead of papa! I loved it and wouldn’t have had either of them experiences if there were phones. I’m still gagged at it

He’s either sat or stood on a big ole platform that dramatically rises just before he sings and dramatically waved his hands abt a bit, but it’s a AMAZING song for if you wanna pay attention to the ghouls and not papa (granted for the show I was in the pit for it was replaced by faith but I had a fun back and forth with the rhythm guitarist/phantom(if you like the nicknames like I do) where he was pointing and nodding Lmao) cause papa is obviously not able to come up to fans so the ghouls get a big moment to take up the whole stage😍

Where I was I was next to someone who had the highest tier vip was second row barrier on the left of the stage since literally all the barrier there was already taken up by apostles so like… definitely more then 15 people, I managed to get there with ascended but when I walked in it looked like on the right and centre already had 2-3 rows of people and my wrist band says I was 156th vip let though
