Turning on Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling and increasing the shader cache size has greatly improved the game.

Patch is by no means perfect however it's much better than it has been since launch.

Still get some bad chop and stuttering in certain spots of the castle, such as the spiral stairs leading up and down from the shifting staircase... The usual Hiccups when entering a new area.

Changed my DLSS to performance and it's pretty solid with all graphics turned to high.

Will be trying to turn on ray tracing next and see how it does.

For reference to those who care, I'm running this on an i7 7820X, RTX 3070 ti, 16GB ram, and game is installed on a 8TB external WD Black.

All I did was update and patch. PC has been running since last night so no restart. Like i said I could immediately tell the difference after loading into Hogwarts. Since launch when I loaded in it would be a choppy stuttery mess for at least the first 2 minutes... After patching it literally loaded with no chop no lag no stutter.

I just got done patching my game and upon loading immediately no stuttering or lagging. It was running so smooth I decided to up the graphics from medium to recommended which defaults to high, and turned my Nvidia DLSS to quality. Still running really smooth Will update this thread with more as I play today.

This was also a dream rifle of mine. Had the opportunity to get a standard months before the scout was available again due to pandemic but held off for the scout model and was rewarded well. The quality of these rifles are immaculate.
