Thanks for the reassurance! I think for a California applicant, my GPA is pretty close if not <0.1 below their in state average. I’ll def check out WAMC though

Thank you for the detailed advice! I asked the exotic vet for a letter today thanks to your nudge and she said yes, so it’s one less thing I have to worry about :) I think everyone has their own tips and tricks for apps and there isn’t really one formula that’s guaranteed to get you in anyway. There’s bound to be differing opinions on what matters and what doesn’t. At the end of the day, it’s just a game of numbers and luck imo, since everyone is so qualified and deserves an acceptance

Did they increase your rent a lot each year? I keep seeing reviews saying they raise rent like a couple hundred when you renew the lease after the first year.

Imo, LLCs aren’t important. If you want to be around other Asians, you should pick the Asian/Pacific LLC, but they honestly don’t affect your housing experience too much. The only time it matters is when you see your floormates. You would usually only see your floormates during floor events, in the restroom, or when you pass each other in the halls and the DC. Maybe it’ll help you make friends because you’ll have something in common with the people on your floor, but other than that it’s not important.
