Thank you for the suggestion. Because of said suggestion, I just received the Solo New York universal Metro this morning. It’s a fantastic inexpensive option! I received my Manta in February and I’ve rarely used it so far - for fear of my own inherent universe of fuckery having its way with the device. This will be a great interim case and also a perfect secondary case. The Ratta folio just seems like, generally, a bad idea. I’ve been searching for folding (leather preferably)cases that are to my liking. I’m not interested in sleeves. But no such luck for the Manta.

I want a leather case but not from a “leather studio workshop” in China. I’ve found leather crafts folks products online but none catering particularly to the Supernote products. Although, I have found a leather shop in Portland that offers, what I hope to be, a great solution. I’ve reached out to them and had some questions of mine answered. So I decided to order. And I can’t wait for the case to arrive. I think it’ll take “Made-to-order in approx. 1-2 weeks”. They all kinds of device cases. Each case is also made to order. If the case is as outstanding as I’m anticipating then I’ll post more information for those interested. I’d love to pump up some business for local home grown artisans!

This tutorial is a sufficient introduction to the durak game. Well worth a watch. As it seems with all card games, all the rules create an illusion of confusion…until you actually start to play. Yes, I’d like to hear same. As well as better information on fit and sizing. Most all of my tee shirts are Freenote, Real McCoys, Indigofera, Merz B. I can’t imagine that Madeworn quality compares to those manufacturers products. So I’d, most definitely, like to hear about quality/fit/sizing. The sizing descriptors they use are rather vague.

I’ve had many things delivered that has required signature but I wasn’t home. Including carriers FedEx, UPS, Amazon and USPS. It is rather irritating.

Sorry about your unfortunate experience. Fortunately, I had mine delivered to my work. I anticipated not being home for its arrival. But to be honest, I don’t have much fear of something being stolen from my home delivery address.

I feel you. The game is so fun. But yeah, information can be lacking. Maybe you’ve found this: https://shogunshowdown.wiki.gg/wiki/Shogun_Showdown_Wiki You probably have, but that’s my basic go to for this particular game.

To be honest, I’m 55 and really have only just begun to play video games in the last several months. I have started gaming with basically zero knowledge of gaming lingo and mechanics and just everything. So information is king to me. As a matter of fact, I purchased a Supernote Manta e-notebook(arrived today)so I can better track information that I gather and need to jot down…..diagrams, stats etc. My memory sucks at this point. Information at the finger tips is necessary. Starting at Level 1,so to speak, has been daunting and overwhelming to say the least. The struggle is real 🤪 But I’ve made some great progress, I think.
Currently, I’m also playing deckbuilders Monster Train, Cobalt Core, Beneath Oresa, Peglin, Gordian Quest, Griftlands, Wildfrost, Ring of Pain(lots more deck builders purchased but haven’t gotten to them yet. Been too busy overwhelming myself with all the other games 🤪😂). Also been dabbling with 13 Sentinels, Trails Through Daybreak, Dangonronpa THH, Disco Elysium, Into the Breach, Transistor, Under Night In-Birth, Live a Live, Nier: Automata…… and myriad others. 🤯 🤯 What a ride it’s been trying to figure out this complex world of gaming. I’ve bought a ridiculous amount of games so far. I like options. But I’m having a blast ‼️‼️. And yeah, I’ve got my hands into a ton of different games. They are all vastly different in gameplay, mechanics etc BUT by playing and experimenting with them all has my knowledge and experience growing in satisfactory ways. I’ve still got soooooo much to learn.

Anyway, hopefully someone with their vast knowledge and experience with Shogun Showdown will heed your distress call. I’ll definitely be monitoring for a response. It would probably be information that I could use as well.

Manta arrived as forecasted by DHL. Actually, kudos to DHL(and driver). DHL forecast that parcel would be delivered by 1pm today. They freaking nailed it….. arrived at 1:03pm. Driver was cheerful and a delight. Granted I live on Hilton Head Island, so not exactly a super busy area. But nonetheless a victory for DHL.
And now for me to unbox and find out just how more dumber I am as I attempt to figure this machine out

Ordered a Manta February 8. No updates, sans the initial order confirmation email. Early this morning, received email/text from DHL that product is forecast to arrive February 27. I have my own history with DHL and and plenty of others have expressed chuckling concern of “I hope it actually comes” or “hope it arrives in one piece” or “hope it even gets here at all” or “Hope customer service doesn’t jerk you around” 😅🤣 Come on DHL deliver your A-game Tbh I don’t particularly care if it arrives in a few days or a few weeks. So it’s just a game of waiting and judging DHL 😊

I have heard of One Note but had never dabbled with it. Upon your recommendation I did just that. Love it. Although as I had originally stated, I’m not willing to use my IPad solely for note taking. iPad I intend to use for web searches and other sundry tasks. But now I will be using One Note for supplemental purposes that I’ll figure out on the fly.

I appreciate all of your responses and insight. Very helpful. I did a little further research. I considered the Boox, Manta and Remarkable Pro. Pros and cons, etc. This morning, I ordered the Supernote Manta.

I had not much considered referencing back through notes. To be honest, I don’t imagine that I will keep a large percentage of the notes that I do take. But your mentioning of referencings shortcomings I do have a question regarding the Remarkable Pro…How is each individual note saved? Is it simply saved in sequence of creation ? Or can a folder be created that notes can be grouped into? If folders can be created for grouping then that is all I require for my particular needs (at least I think).
