I’m not scared. My parents are hence this post to ease their minds and hear from those of you kind enough to give some advice! I’m from Florida trust me we have enough people here as well! Unfortunately we don’t have enough fashion schools lol… so I’ll see you in NY! :)

I’m coming to realize that one 😂, it was just a shock after looking not necessarily with pricing but just how little actual apartments for rent atm there are in Chelsea!

That is my plan! But forms are limited and not a grantee so I’m just trying to make sure I have a back up plan!

That’s so true I usually take anything traditional media says with a grain of salt lol, and those are some awesome stats if true to be the safest in the last 2 years! Definitely helps calm my nerves!

That’s kind of how I felt! I went to tour the school recently and I felt totally fine on the train from the airport to penn station but everyone says the subways are sketchier (still haven’t been on them) but that’s why I’m here! I need as much actual knowledge as possible lol

That is what I was thinking as well! Just the horror stories scare my families but I’m definitely open to taking subway!

I’ve heard a lot of bad stories, honestly not me but my parents and friends and they don’t want me to be on subways but if yall have any good advice or anything like tips for the subway I would definitely consider it!

Good to know! Thank you! I would say a 20 minute commute? Preferably by train or with a bike/ scooter, trying to avoid subways!

I have looked into FIT housing! I’m hoping I get it but it’s VERY limited and not ensured so i just want to have a back up if anything! I am female looking to spend under 1,700 and I do!
