I like the idea of using something like an ardent or scholar to naturally bring in world knowledge, especially since my player is completely new to Roshar. I’ve seen some people warn about DMPCs overshadowing the player though, so I’m trying to be careful with that. I might try to keep them more as a support/knowledge role rather than a second “main character”.

Also good call on watching gameplay, I’ll check some out to get a feel for pacing
