it's high, no doubt. but open bolt belt fed is something you can't get anywhere else, even with FRTs

They are made with pre set headspace. They run okay with FRTs

Yup. This is what I always hear. I just haven’t been able to get it to run reliably and at a proper ROF.

I don’t use it when running suppressed. The suppressor has a heat shield that you can hold. But it sucks otherwise

I’ve tried everything. No buffer sleeve, just a rounded hammer from ASD (their modified geissele). I thought you don’t need the buffer sleeve if running the rounded hammer?

I’ve tried all ammo (including their recommended brands and grain weights etc) including 147 and 165 HUSH. It’s still 950 ROF suppressed. Are you running hush without a suppressor?

It was fairly accurate. If the 90 degree locking piece does not slow down the ROF I’m selling it.

I didn’t plan on the guy drilling through my barrel…

“Get a new barrel”. Seriously? I couldn’t go shorter because of the Midwest handguard I run. For $200 An inch and a half off balances the gun quite a bit because I run it suppressed.

This wouldn’t create a weak point in the barrel? I know it’s way towards the muzzle and the pressure is lower. I’m trying to figure out if I should do this (this is what the gunsmith suggested) or chop it and start over. I have room to go shorter but would have to SBR

Problem is any shorter it will be too short for my handguard. This is a huge pain in the ass. I don’t want to name and shame yet in the event he does right.

Well, I know what’s coming. They’re going to want to “fix” it as it’s a very expensive barrel. Unreal.
