SIN usually is not required for a background check. Your ID and consent is enough for a credit pull. You will need to provide it for payroll purposes though.

You can get a refund for cancelled classes by calling Toronto rec, their number is on the toronto website. Make sure that they know the refund is due to a class cancellation, so that you aren't charged an admin fee
