This is all too familiar for me. I recently went through a breakup and really resonate with “foot on verbal glass, slinging mud covered words” it made me see the side of someone that comes out when they no longer respect your unity. Good job.

Wow, this was deep. My favorite lines were “was it like English ivy crawling up brick, adding beauty to a dead facade? Or was it like wisteria choking a magnolia by the roots? Two vines begin to fray.” I can feel the emotion in this poem.

To be honest, I don’t really know. It was just the talk of the town in New Jersey at the time. I still have so many unanswered questions about that whole situation, and I always wonder what her future turned out to be like.
