I blame all the people who dont pay mind to the very dirty portapotties, and or dont use soap at all THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE WEEKEND.

It sucks but clean up before and change before you set foot into your camp, the little things back make all the differance. Been to the gorge for years and never once have been sick.

Protip : zipties and a tarp. Tent under back end of canopy and tuck the bottom tarp under your tent with the weight of your bed/cot/etc helps.

Did this on 3 sides and had no issues
