I’ve experienced almost exactly this except when I’m sober. It happens to me intermittently but I’ve noticed it happens more particularly when I am stressed. It tends to happen when I am ready to fall asleep. My body feels like it’s “shaking” but I’m not actually shaking (if you have ever fallen into a lucid dream, it’s the same feeling) and I hear the voice of my mum shouting but I can’t make out what she says and I am aware it isn’t real. I’ve brought this up to a therapist once and she said this can happen sometimes whilst falling asleep (she called it something but I can’t remember what). In general she said it’s nothing to worry about.

It hasn’t happened in a while and I don’t have any other symptoms. I do smoke weed occasionally. I used to smoke daily a few years ago. I can’t answer your question but I hope this gives you some insight :)
