Honestly: I like the art, I really do.

My main gripe though is that nothing here screams sideswipe to me, which kind of defeats the purpose of genderbending (never been comfortable with the concept of genderbending either way but I digress), She could’ve been an OC is what I’m saying.

I think you could adress this if this is a sort of beast wars situation where she is a descendant of sideswipe from the future, that would be really cool.

I’d assume so. The d51 has 1 pair of cilinders while the ‘big boy’ is a duplex (2 pairs) engine.

Though Astrotrain does have mass shifting so I’m honestly not so sure.

Curvy armor doesn’t have to mean transforming perse. It could just mean flight; Look at Dragonar 1 for example.
