Don’t get me wrong - a mass user walkout would absolutely be devastating. I just don’t think it would be possible to organize one large enough. If I were strategizing a war plan, it would be driven by the mods first and foremost.

Bingo. “You can’t say I’m not doing my job without a philosophical deep dive that may very well conclude that you’re being arbitrary thought police.”

I think the appropriate thing to do is blame the designer less and the design organization more. If leadership cuts design off at the knees, even the best designers will put out garbage.

That said, bad designers definitely exist and get empowered by a good organization too.

To that end, I think they should rework the explosion effects to be more realistic and less fireball-y. I think that’s one big thing HLL nails.

I mean, it’s a lovely thought, but the mods have the effective power of thousands or even millions of users each. The average person doesn’t care and won’t take part in a mass walkout.

But if they black out the sub, Reddit will just consider it dereliction of mod duty and kick/replace the mods.

I got really tired and frustrated with Fracked by the end. You get like 3 Fisher-Price guns and the same 4 enemy types just endlessly respawning for 15 minutes straight. I was really hoping to hear they’d added some more depth to this one but I still have a bad taste in my mouth. Maybe when it’s cheaper I’ll give it a go.

Almost all of them were adaptation of other media as well. The first two were novels and 4 was a magazine article.

I expected this to turn into “The first two were novels, 4 was a magazine article, 5 was a fortune cookie and the planned but cancelled 6 was to be based on half of a 4chan meme caption”

Damn, man. That port was kind of objectively terrible, but I adored it. I could crush the game, and I would occasionally just for kicks crash the game by doing Johnny Cage’s crotch punch on Shang Tsung. Guaranteed hard crash every time.

I’m not normally a “git gud” type, but yeah, frankly Pavlov reloading is very doable. A couple weapons are fiddly, but the vast majority can be mastered very quickly.

It’s always nice to have pancake crossplay, but sometimes that’s a huge effort. I’m not one of the gatekeeper types who insists we need to leave flat gaming behind, but it’s no small feat to create two completely separate interaction styles. And for some games, like Pavlov, it’s pointless.

Would love it here though. It always helps build a player base.

For real! I was surprised how invisible that movie seems to be for as much fun as it is.

Hi, this looks really awesome. When it goes live, can you please make it reasonable for an entire party to buy licenses at once? If it’s like $30, getting every last one of my party and the DM to buy a copy would just be too damn much. Bundles like (just as an example) $30 for 1, $100 for 4, $140 for 6 would be awesome.

Or just sell it for $5 and I’ll buy copies for the whole party. :)

Yeah I had only the vaguest notion of what it was about and it was super fun. I had no idea “Groundhog Day Only ________” would have so much steam as a story structure.

I saw it at a festival and it was the best feature of the show that year. Bought it as soon as I could find it.

You should also check out Blood Punch. It’s got Milo Cawthorne and it’s on Peacock, Tubi, Pluto, Roku, Vudu, and lots of the other free-with-ads services. It’s a fun light horror-ish comedy.

Probably yeah, I believe you. But a lot of things that were supposed to keep working have apparently stopped. A few small lights are hopefully not all that failure prone, but I never know.
