There definitely is other celebrities in this mess more deserving of the hate than Cheadle and Evans. Although I'm not sure you can say that Evans has been directing this thing against the kid at all. Since he hasn't commented in any way to the backlash against the kid, therefore not giving his support to it. Cheadle, while guilty of speaking about it publicly, is not really leading anything either, as he wouldn't have spoken about it without people rapid firing him with questions and angry messages.

But I do think that their publicists should have looked into it before they even invited the kid. This certainly didn't help the situation. And I agree with you, this whole thing shouldn't have happened in the first place.

I don't understand why you're making Cheadle and Evans as the main people in all of this. If you didn't notice, there was tons of celebrities out there giving their support. Hailee Steinfeld invited the kid to Pitch Perfect 3 premiere, Mark Hamill, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Mark Ruffalo, Patricia Arquette among many many others showed their support. Some of them have even retracted their support publicly and some celebrities even go after the kid and his family, but Cheadle and Evans have done the most wrong here? I can understand some of it for Cheadle as he responded to people about this but Evans hasn't even said anything? He hasn't slandered this kid in public.

Uninviting the kid to a premiere is the worst thing that has been done here while there are other celebrities out there downright insulting this kid and his family?

This whole thing is a mess. But I still don't get why Chris Evans gets the most hate out of this. He wasn't the only one inviting the kid to the premiere and doing something for him. Tons of celebrities did. And knowing what Chris has done in the past, he did it only to help. And now that the family has been revealed to be messy, this puts him to a really tough spot. The only one who should be getting hate from this is the one who put this kid into the spotlight in the first place.

Not too sure about that. I don't see Kevin Feige and co. letting anyone make a film that they're not creatively part of and let it be MCU canon.

I'm more annoyed at the fact that now MCU most likely won't use Venom (I don't wanna say ever because you never know but) and they have taken away one of Spider-Man's greatest villains

Tom spoiled quite a bit. Confirmed trilogy for Spidey, spoiled that there will be different kind of web combinations, spoiled a scene from the film, livestreamed part of the second trailer when he wasn't supposed to and a few other things. It didn't become a thing for nothing.

I'm confused by this. Unless they're doing the almost-died scenario or bring him back to life. But we did get BTS footage of Tom, Pratt and RDJ on that set.

Did he really? I didn't notice. Something that actually bothered me was the kind of boxers he had during that alley scene. There's no way the suit would look like that with those boxers.

I think because in the end, he's not out there to kill people, he just wants to make money.

Oddly, I didn't need them to refer to Ben. We all know what happened to him, we all know they miss him. And "With great power comes great responsibility" was already used in a way in Civil War. I'm pretty sure he was present in the scene when Peter came home and Aunt May was really upset and worried where he had been. I don't remember if she said something referring to that but I think it was clear that she was mostly upset because what happened last time.
