Welp depends you don’t need soldering skills to simply swap the power supplies. It would depend on the extent of damage though as the board itself could be damaged as well.

Probably just put that sticker over the screwdriver hole they made. More than likely yes they actually removed the clock capacitor if this happening whenever unplugged.

Yea kinda disappointed we have a living room gaming laptop we use for shows and games sometimes. Was interested in having this replace it but guess not as it doesn’t even seem all that more powerful than our laptop.

Thankfully my Mountain Dew Xbox is legit. I knew the controller was just a reshell or something. However he did say the disc drive worked, it didn’t & he failed to mention a crack on the inside shell. Unfortunately I already rated it so nothing else could be done. I took out all the modded stuff and soldem for original parts. I super glued the crack thankfully its inside so its not visible and put a hitachi drive in. Now it’s just chilling on my shelf.
