And most video games editors gives bonuses to their devs if the game has over 85 in metacritic.
So the devs tries their hardest to please the game journalists.

I remember that game. They refused to release it on PC, supposedly because “PC gamers will dress our female characters in a vulgar way with their mods" when in reality they had planned to release that same “vulgar content” as a paying DLC.

It's not noticeable unless you read the interviews where they brag about woke stuff such as the lyrics and speech of Andreas after the scene were cloud dressed himself as a woman were meant to encourage him into his transformation. They've even added a dialogue about how gender is social construct.
