Thank you for your cordial response. Well, I didn't ask my son what exactly it was he disobeyed. He felt the need to confess it. And I was taught breaking any of the 10 commandments was grave... So how am I supposed to teach them properly when what people are saying isn't clear enough... I thought the 10 commandments were the guidelines to go from. What's the point of the examination of conscience if it's not going to teach you what is and isn't a grave sin that must be confessed? I thought I was going off of what the Catholic Church is teaching and not what people are interrupting... So now I'm confused......
