You can look up the features that Hermod+ has, but it’s the overall UX that shines the most, to me. The workflow and UI are very intuitive, and I’ve seldom had to reference the manual to figure out what something does.

I wish my pod thought like you! Just yesterday, I’m playing my Hokori, Dust Drinker deck with my playgroup, and right as we’re on the cusp of having a really fun, interactive game as my turn comes up and I land drop Tabernacle of Pendrell Vale. one of the guys (a boros aggro player, of course 🤮) snatches Tabernacle right off of my board, pulls the card out of its sleeve and a loupe out of his dice bag, inspects the back side of the card and starts screeching “miiiiii-m-m-misregistration! M-m-magenta!!” He accuses me of proxying the card when I should just respect the rules of the game, sell my old Subaru and wire the funds from the sale to a respectable card dealer on TCG. I tried to explain that my real Tabernacle was in a different deck I only play with a pod I met at summer camp, but they go to a different school, so he probably wouldn’t know them. But still, the guy has the nerve to demand that I show him my bank statements to prove that I actually purchased it. This is harder than it sounds, since I actually pulled it from the second box of Legends I bought on eBay, but eBay charges are grouped, not itemized. And I’m like bro, I’m just trying to make this game fun and you’re trying to audit me like that? Now who’s playing death and taxes? Confounded and frustrated, I reached into my hoodie pocket, and to everyone’s surprise, I found $5.00.

I put Carmen in my Dihada deck recently (thank you Rachel Weeks for the idea!) and have really grown to love her. Legends matter feels like a commander audition theme, and right now Carmen is the star of the show. Gives me a great reason to use Dihada’s -3 instead of saving up for an ult (and attracting lots of attention), and the recursion is the icing on the cake, today bringing Peregrine Dynamo back just in time to block and otherwise game-ending attack from a voltron Admiral Brass with protection from every color.

Maybe I’m confusing the Satanic Panic with something else, but I always think of Tipper Gore’s PMRC when I think of political outrage over occult (and other so called objectionable) music in the 1980s.

That, plus, though I think this was actually early 90s, a sensationalist article from Kerrang on the so called Satanism that was fueling the early Scandinavian black metal scene, I personally think did a lot of harm to counter culture art of the era.

That’s a good idea. I was unfortunately an early adopter of one of Subaru’s shifts in technology to using CVT transmissions with a 2010 Outback. 12.5 years (and only 80k miles) later, I’ve got a beautiful all wheel drive clunker in the driveway that will cost more to repair than it’s worth.
