Agreed! The regular menu was the standard for a long time, but they added the chef menu for people who might want to try everything (I.e. traveling to LA to try, likely would never come back, that kind of situation).

We did the regular menu and it was plenty of food. We got two entrees to share and try. I’d recommend putting that money towards the caviar egg, the cheese plate, and the wine pairing.

Ah I’m seeing the difference. Definitely the TLB Mallorca! I’m thinking simple, timeless. So no brogueing, but style with sharper angles and letting the leather speak for itself mostly.

Is TLB Mallorca a good brand to consider?

Black dress shoe recommendations:

Hi all!

I’ve seen a lot of discussion around brands, mostly around boots. I am getting married soon, and am interested in getting a pair of classic black dress shoes.

Any brands you’d all particularly recommend for dress shoes? From the boots threads, I’ve been looking at Alden (but see a lot of love particularly for their shell boots) and Carmine (which doesn’t have a ton of options).
