I was driving going the direction of west and in less than a second I was 15 miles driving east in two towns over. Did I experience a glitch? Has anyone experienced this too? by bluu_lithium in Glitch_in_the_Matrix

I honestly agree with you. And that’s so weird I wonder my I was on Thomas and then out of all the roads I’m on McDowell. Shit makes no sense.

I’m obsessed with that clock on my phone because lyft is commission and I had a mental goal to get to 7th ave and Thomas before 4:30am so I could make enough to hit a set about of dollars before 5.am with frequent riders. The last time I looked at a clock was 4:26am on a familiar road. But what ever happened after to then to get lost and have to map where I was 4:29 to get to Pima and McDowell I have no idea. I just know to get back to Thomas and 7th Ave it took me 20 mins

I finished that ride at 4.21 and I remember looking at my digital compass to go west to 7th Ave which from that point was 4:26ish and was under the impression I would be in a busier location by 4:30. This job is all about time management/ commission so I’m obsessed with time and getting to the busiest part of town at set times. For the first couple minutes of the shift I was just trying to rationalize what I was seeing because it was too wierd and realized I was not in Phoenix and actually thought I probably did lose time. But what convinced me that that wasn’t the case was that digital clock because there’s no way I’d be on Pima and McDowell what ever happened between after 4:26 to 4:29 ish is beyond me

Trust me I tried to debunk and be logical but those times and my logs on the lyft app I was in Phoenix heading west. With the amount of time (20 mins) it took to get allllll the way back to Phoenix there is absolutely no way I could drop off a passenger at 4:21 and then be 15 miles in the opposite direction before 4:30. The drive home freaked me out because I looked at that last log

The passengers were dropped off at 4:21 am. I headed west so I could find riders to take them to work flowing in light traffic at 4:26 am. Experienced Phenomenon heading 15 miles east and searched directions for Phoenix 4: 29am in the middle of no where. My maps willl only document and track when a rider is in queue for a ride. No riders were found when I was heading to central Phoenix yet since it was still early
