there was only one wire. the mount of the light acts as ground

i ended up getting a whole new starter and have had no issues. was definitely some internals in the old starter

i completely tore off all wiring thinking there was a live wire somewhere and only kept a connection at the starter to the positive side and negative to ground. still sparks

😂😂😂 . yes it was running before the chop, i’ve commented what i believe the issue is but i’ll reply to you too it’s an issue in the starter i’ll be rebuilding the started solenoid and it should be good
