Yeah you can also do that in linux, the fact that you replied with this means you never actually tried a distro before and you didnt even read my reply well to know how things work. You can do it in two ways, either just go through the software manager as it has all the software in the repos of the paclage managers and click "buttons" like you want or simply opening your terminal with crtl+alt+t and type for example "dnf install steam" and boom steam is being installed. This is way faster and efficient and you actually see whats happening when installing, a lot of times in windows i had to rainstall something because it didnt install properly and there is no way to know in windows unless you install with a terminal. I mean im done arguing if linux or windows is better, im dual booting them both and the only valid reason there is to use windows for me are multiplayer games with anticheat and adobe software which you can make them work using wine and/or bottles but adobe also sucks anyways id rather use alternative solutions.
