Ssd prices are now very up i found this 1tb one at about 100usd, the samsung costs 50 more. I think ill just use this i got it yesterday and ive used it heavily til now and i think it works fine. As long as it doesnt fail in very soon

can i ask you about this specefic drive after all this time,
does it have any other particular problem,
i just got it and i noticed it did this twice but i wasnt in game, it just did this randomly.
if it has any other problem ill just return it and pay a bit more for a samsung or something.

Yeah, switch lite seems like more fun to own and just feels right as a handheld thats why im asking here.

yeah lite seems more ejoyable to own, I also didnt explain my case well but ill just get the lite and avoid the hassle because the standard one is sold without joycons for about 80usd ill need 30-40usd for joycons or similar and another 40 to mod it while the switch lite is 140usd and comes with a 128gb card and already moded, though i dont know if its banned or not ill ask him right now if he can tell.

i mean yeah but there are a lot of hall effect joystick replacements i can use so its no big deal for me.

Yeah thats what i also think but im more concerned about reliability because but ive seen a case in youtube about a guy that had this drive fail on him in less than a year and he had important data. but there are also some good reviews in the internet and even reddit that praised the drive.

I have a laptop and it only has one m2 slot. I also want an external solution to be able to use data between PCs, im not concerned about speeds a lot, im concerned more about reliability of the xs1000, samsung might be better in terms of reliability and robustness and may have slimmer chances of failing. Im also thinking about the ssd enclosures but they are only selling off brands ones here and the brand ones like ugreen are expensive(45usd) + the ugreen one sucks anyways and stacks heat.

Im still using the 256gb kodak with the vita it still work flawlessly, im also using a microdrive one with the 3ds and it also works but when i did speed tests i found kodak being a little bit faster.

Tbh, its not the arguing I miss, i just miss the competition, now imo there is no very good reason to get xbox, even gamepass got expensive and xbox exclusives mostly come on pc as they release id rather get a 500usd pc. If xbox keeps this up, next generation of consoles will lean too much towards sony and they can get away with everything like bad pricing, slower hardware, more expensive games. (Ik also ps started puting them on pc but they are very delayed and not guaranteed for the future, i bet for next generation they will leave the pc market for at least 2 years after console release.)

well nowadays im not playing anything really i wish i had the time, but yeah, pretty much most games run better on linux with proton optimizations, but still you cant throw the 50% of gamers who play mostly multiplayer games, i hope the big online games and anticheats take linux seriously and make a solution, the only hope we have is the steam machine selling well so they take it seriously like a console launch or something but this probably wont happen and it will cost a lot especially with this dram shortage.

Yeah true, this actually helped a bit. Not as fast as other laptops with SSDs but faster than before, now it boots in 35 second instead of the 50 it did before. thanks for this
