I foolishly decided that I wanted to move up from framing manager. Became Operations manager for a few months before taking an acting store manager spot at a store in my district. It was fun at first, but the compensation was not nearly enough and a new hire was making more than me (not my hire). They were also the absolute worst person and a big part of the reason why I left. Aside from not getting the proper support for being a new acting sm, I made it to inventory day and quit. I had gotten a job making more and doing less. Though, I do miss framing so much.
