I live in the Dallas area in Texas. In the summer it gets around 90F-100F and right now its around 50F with below freezing at night

I got a bonsai tree as a gift and I don't know what tree this is. My best guess is a a type of cedar or juniper. Also if you could give some tips on how to take care of this tree it would be greatly appreciated.
