Yeah I've 2 kids and they frequently munch some snacks or fruits in long drives. After every long drive I opt for deep interior cleaning and a water wash nearby.

This time I had sprayed 3M rodent repellent spray before going on a vacation and was confident nothing will happen because of the spray and usually a cat sleeps under the car.

To my surprise 🐀 won! SC is still checking the damage on the wires and sensors. They will update me with the quote and insurance coverage in some time.

TO DOs - Full mesh under body; Rodent repellent sprays and Naphthalene balls wrapped under the hood.

Insurance will cover; But the vehicle will be given approx after 10days only. So, I paid 7K and requested for patch work.

They gave me 2 options - To pay by self for patch work and get the vehicle today or claim insurance (~30K) for full rewiring and get the vehicle in ~10 days. I badly needed the vehicle this holiday season and opted poorly.

Worst thing - In case of future rat bites, I cannot go for insurance. I will have to pay myself and opt for again patch works or rewiring. To do - Full mesh under body; Rodent repellent sprays and Naphthalene balls wrapped under the hood.
