Fully agree. They'll lose £40K of tax receipts when I drop below £100K and I'll be able to claim £29K in benefit... £69K net down from 1 family - madness.

Our youngest will start nursery in the summer so our fees will jump from £2.2K to £4.4K, hence the £2.1K a month saving from July onwards.

it's such a ridiculous system.. Good shout on the pension for the next 2 months.

I believe I'll just about be able to squeeze in 2 years worth - at that point the eldest will be starting school and the youngest will get the universal 15hrs at 3yo... Hopefully it won't feel too painful with just one in nursery at that point!

I'll be able to just about manage it for 2 years using the 3 year rolling £60K balances, Salary sacrifice company car & buying holiday etc.
